Ray Daniels - Osteopath
After graduating from Unitec with a Master of Osteopathy degree Ray began his career in Whangarei. He quickly built a strong rapport with people in the community who benefited from his treatments. His personable approach, easy going nature and passion for finding the root cause of any complaint set him apart from others. Ray found his time up north extremely valuable as it exposed him to people of all ages and professions – be it a farmer with lower back pain, to an office worker with classic upper back, shoulder and neck issues.
Ray developed a passion for Osteopathy after he saw an Osteopath himself due to lower back pain from playing rugby. After experiencing the benefits of Osteopathy, Ray became a ‘student for a day’ while still at school to see what the five year study would involve. He then applied and committed himself to becoming a qualified Osteopath. Ray strongly believes that the body works as a unit and can be affected by and/or influence other areas of the body.
Ray has a sporting background including rugby, surfing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He also enjoys the outdoors and is a family man. Ray holds a current Annual Practising Certificate with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand and is an ACC registered provider.

I have never felt as desperate as I did at the time I approached you for assistance with my shoulder pain – it had become incapacitating! Thank you so much for the excellent work you did addressing my injured shoulder. Your gentle, considerate approach gave me the confidence to return – even at the height of my pain. I will recommend your services with confidence to friends, family and colleagues.
