We support the profession and are active members of both the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand and Osteopaths New Zealand.
Taz Darragh - Osteopath
Taz graduated from Unitec New Zealand with honours in the Master of Osteopathy program. He holds a current annual practising certificate with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand, is a member of Osteopaths New Zealand and is an ACC registered provider. Taz owns and practices at both Central City Osteopaths and Shore Osteopaths in Rosedale.
Taz completed his research thesis on shoulder pain. He studied the best methods for the rehabilitation of those suffering with shoulder impingement syndrome, a common diagnosis of shoulder pain. Having completed extensive research on shoulder pain he is now highly regarded in this area. Read the thesis here. Taz has a special interest in workplace injuries and discomfort. By far the most common complaint Taz treats is upper back and neck pain, and headaches. Taz's treatments are effective and based on structural osteopathic techniques including spinal manipulation, soft-tissue massage techniques, and joint mobilisation. Outside of Osteopathy Taz enjoys surfing with his kids, running, paddle boarding and generally keeping active. |
Adam Turner - Osteopath
Adam has recently returned from an Osteopathic position in Singapore. He graduated from United New Zealand with a Master of Osteopath degree and holds a current Annual Practicing Certificate with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand and is an ACC registered Osteopath.
Adam was drawn to Osteopathy so as to help people with their health and fitness. He finds clear communication is part of the key to successful health outcomes, and based his Master's thesis on this. He takes a tailored approach to each person, with his treatment style being mostly structural -using hands-on techniques to the muscles and joints, and providing home-care exercises/advice as needed.
Outside of Osteopathy, Adam spends his time surfing, swimming, running, weight training and basically trying anything new that involves movement/learning.

I have never felt as desperate as I did at the time I approached you for assistance with my shoulder pain – it had become incapacitating! Thank you so much for the excellent work you did addressing my injured shoulder. Your gentle, considerate approach gave me the confidence to return – even at the height of my pain. I will recommend your services with confidence to friends, family and colleagues.
